#HIKING @ BUKIT TIRIG, KG LAPASAN, TELIPOK SABAH

Then , we just follow the flow :)

Dipendekkan cerita, kami ikut Jalan Rugading pastu masuk sebelah kiri untuk ke Kg Lapasan. Lepas tu jalan terus sampai jumpa bustop putih.

Jalan masuk tu agak complicated sikit bagi yang first time datang.

\

Jalan dia tidaklah se - adventure Bukit Perahu. Ada hutan sikit2. So memang sesuai sangat bawa anak-anak kecil jalan2.

almost there

Yeay sampai!

Kalau mau ambik wedding photoshoot, graduation photoshoot.. memang sesuai sangat2 lah buat disini :)

Hiking with family is the best.

Belanja selfie sikitt

For the next trip, we plan to watch sunrise in here. How cool is that?
So this is my Bukit Tirig story. What is yours?

Ciao Bella. Assalamualaykum.

Thank you sooo much Mr, Gary Revgray!

#HIKING @ BUKIT PERAHU, TAMPARULI

Kalau dulu turun KK mesti pegi Shopping Mall. Orang Sabah bilang ' bangas' . Once upon a time I was a proud movie-goer but nowadays I am more to outdoor. Paling last masuk panggung wayang masa tengok Thor : The Dark World dengan family.

Let's cut to the chase, actually hiking at Bukit Perahu was very 'impromptu' . I felt extremely bored at the mall and I texted my friend and they were planning to go hiking that evening. So me and my sister decided to join them.

Bukit Perahu also known as Bukit Ruhiang because it is located at Kg, Ruhiang Tamparuli a.k.a St. Veronica's hill by the devotees of Roman Catholic . If you want to know the story behind the name 'Bukit Perahu' you may click here ---> SINI

Where we parked our car

Coming here for the first time, I'll try to explain the direction. Once you are in Tamparuli Town, just after the Tamparuli bridge, take the first right , go straight till you find St. Veronica Hill signboard. If you lost your way, just ask the local because this place is quite popular!

Kereta orang parking . Ni semua mau naik Bukit Perahu.

Simpang masuk Bukit Perahu. Cari ja signboard Puncak St. Veronica.

Starting our journey at 5.55pm.

THE CHALLENGE
  • The trail was crowded with people, you have to wait in line to climb uphill.
  • Whenever somebody passes by, the dust from the ground will fill the air so you have to cover your nose.
  • Wear sport shoes because the trail is rocky ,if it is raining , the trail will be extremely slippery .
  • The trail is quite slanted,

This hike reminds me of Mt. Sinai , Egypt. Parents brought their children with them. I saw a man holding his baby climbing uphill. What a good motivation ! Spending your quality time with family in a healthy way!

#THROWBACK MOUNT SINAI, EGYPT CIRCA 2013

AMAZING VIEW

6.35pm we made it to the top!

With SMESHIAN 0408 . 100 of us went through thick and thin throughout 5 years in school . Dah macam adik beradik. We know each and everyone's dirty little secret and gonna use that just to annoy each other.

I will definitely climb this hill again, I wanna take better picture next time. Gambar melompat kali macam dalam blog INI

Till we meet again. Assalamualaikum. Ciao bella!

#HIKING @ Mamut, Ranau

Mamut, Ranau.
Are you a hiking junkie? Well you might not want to miss hiking in here. Mamut is a secluded area located at Ranau, Sabah.

Begitulah sedikit sebanyak kisah mengenai Lombong Mamut, Ranau. For more information boleh click SINI

We started our journey from Ranau Town at 7am and arrived at the gate around 7.20-7.30 a.m . From Ranau Town, after crossing the bridge, take the second left where it led you to Kg Sinarut . You will see a shoplot at the corner. Go straight and you will find two different road. Take the first left (naik bukit ) until you see a gate. You may park your car there and start your journey!
If you are not sure where are you going, just ask the local for the direction, they are very friendly and helpful!

We parked our vehicle in front of the gate. It is better to use 4 wheel drive because of the gravel road.

En route to Mamut.

It may take around 2-3hours by walking.
Psst...actually there is a shortcut to go there *wink* but we did not use it because we LOVE adventure!

My hiking buddy.

The perks of hiking early in the morning. You get to see the majestic Mount Kinabalu behind!

Sikiiit lagi!

    KISAH TAYAR

There is a lake nearby but because we were exhausted and hungry we decided not to go there.

On our way back, we came across a junction which lead us to Mt Kinabalu Holiday Camp.

At that time, there was no one around . The owner left the place with his dogs. At first, we thought that they may bite us but then they only barked at us and later became friendly!

Interested? click here for more info abouMT. KINABALU HOLIDAY CAMP

We come back to our starting point around 1230pm . It was a great journey indeed. Taking lots of picture. Discovering new adventure. Burning up calories. Bonding with friends. Looking forward for the next trip! I was thinking to come again soon to see the lake. Inshaa Allah.

P/S : Sunblock is necessary.

19 hours in Abu Dhabi

My 19 hours journey begin,

Bidding my housemates goodbye

So I use London Cab Egypt service to go to Cairo Airport. The service is tip top. Punctual.Very convenient. Affordable price. Very nice ride. For more info please go to www.londoncabegypt.com

This time I use Etihad airways to travel. I like to use different kind of airlines. I want to try as much as i could just for the sake of gaining experience.

Before commencing the flight, any middle east airlines will usually recite a travel prayer. No worries. MAS also recite prayer nowadays :)

Usually every airlines will give you a pouch containing toothbrush, toothpaste, stockings , etc .. blanket and normal pillow. But this time, they give us this kinda pillow which made my sleep much better . Thank you etihad for inventing this pillow!

My travel buddy is standing in front of the transfer desk waiting for the staff.

If you have a long transit in Abu Dhabi and you are travelling using Etihad airways, they will give you free food voucher. As I took the long transit (19hours) I get free food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, yeay!

Did you know that you can travel to Dubai from Abu Dhabi? We have been to Dubai before so we decided to visit other place around Abu Dhabi. You can get a FREE ride to and fro (ABU DHABI-DUBAI) using a bus. Just go to the website http://www.etihad.com/en-my/plan-and-book/book-etihad-express/ . You can book your seat there. If you have a travel to book your seat, just email them or contact your travel agent.

FYI, for Malaysian, you dont need to apply for visa to visit Abu Dhabi. Nice right?

We want to spend the next hour by visiting Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We ride a taxi to go there. It is easy to get a taxi at the airport but quite pricey. The service is very efficient. The cost is around RM100 to and fro .

You heart just skipped a beat when you see it.

A beauty

The security is quite strict. He does not allow any luggage inside the mosque. You have to put your extra luggage inside the locker. The good news is the locker is free of charge. So instead putting your luggage at the airport which is require money. Bring your cabin luggage here and put it inside the locker for free!

For women, you must cover your hair by using shawl or any cloth. If your dress is revealing, you may want to use abaya. The mosque will provide it . Dont worry.

Peace

My travelling buddy

Capturing great moment

The ablution area is very large and comfortable.

Wefie with a cute Syrian kid.

Inside the Masjid

Outside the Masjid

Notice me wearing different colours of hijab? Well actually I am doing my photo shoot here. Promoting my Manna Wa Salwa Shawl :)

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at night.

Some people may hate having a long transit. But for me, it is a golden ticket for me to travel to place i've never been before! Plus it is way cheaper!

Looking forward to write my experience at Doha, Qatar. Ciao bella!
